InfiRay Outdoors, in collaboration with American Defense Manufacturing, presents the Obverse MICRO Shoe (OMS). This innovative accessory is designed for those who demand precision and reliability when mounting thermal optics to helmets. The OMS enables seamless attachment of the RICO MICRO thermal unit either in a dual-mounted or obverse-mounted configuration.
The design incorporates a standard dovetail shoe often used with helmet-mounted night vision devices, ensuring compatibility and ease of use. A rigid frame tailored specifically for the RICO MICRO unit secures it firmly using three housing screws. When utilized in a dual setup, one MICRO unit can be mounted via an AC52 PICTAIL Helmet/Weapon Shoe (sold separately), while this Obverse Shoe accommodates the second unit. This thoughtful arrangement ensures efficient spacing and alignment, keeping battery doors accessible by orienting them outward.
Crafted from robust 6061 aircraft aluminum alloy, the Obverse Mount guarantees strength without compromising on weight. Its surface features a type 3 hard coat anodized finish that reduces reflection and enhances wear resistance—critical attributes for maintaining stealth and durability under demanding conditions.
